2004 NEW YORK METS #57 ERIC VALENT Game Worn WHITE HOME MLB Size 44 JERSEY

Description

Eric Valent (2004-2005) played for the Philadelphia Phillies (2001–2002), Cincinnati Reds (2003) and the New York Mets (2004–2005 and wore jersey #57).
This is his game white button-down jersey featuring Gracier twill sewn on numbers and letters.  “Mets” scripted across the front.  Blue braid around the neck and down the jersey front as well as around each sleeve.  MLB neckline patch.  “VALENT” arched above “57” on the back.  The jersey features the 2004 Shea Stadium 40th Anniversary patch.  All season also, on game jerseys only, the Mets have added the small embroidered inscription “Ya Gotta Believe, Tug” below the Shea patch in memory to  former Met and Phillie Tug McGraw.  Also in 2004 “Bob Murphy” with direct embroidery (not a patch) is added above the Skyline patch in memory of the deceased broadcaster, added after August 3, 2004.  It is tagged with the Majestic Authentic Collection tag with two white stub tags below it.  On has “44” on it and the other has “set E 2004” on it.  Inside the jersey is a Majestic wash tag with their code 0062 on it which indicates it is a Majestic full weight knit team issued game jersey.  This was used in their game jerseys starting in 2003 and newer.  It is a size 44 and it remains in very good condition.
