Born in Manila, The Philippines, Bobby Chouinard was selected in Round 5 of the 1990 MLB Amateur Draft by the Baltimore Orioles. He subsequently pitched for the Oakland Athletics, Milwaukee Brewers, Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies, in the minor league system of the Houston Astros, and for the Yucatan Leones of the Mexican League. Chouinard is the only player born in the Philippines to ever play in Major League Baseball.
