On July 28, 2019, the
Durham Bulls
hosted the Buffalo Bisons during Latino Heritage Weekend, which was held throughout Minor League Baseball parks as part of Minor League Baseball's
Copa de la Diversion
initiative
.
The Bulls transformed into
Mal de Ojo de Durham
that weekend, wearing special jerseys and hats. The players' and coaches' jerseys were auctioned off to benefit a local Hispanic charity.
Bulls pitcher
JAKE FARIA
wore his jersey #34 that day, and was called up to the
Tampa Bay Rays
during the game. (He was subsequently traded to the
Milwaukee Brewers
a couple of days later and now plays for the
Los Angeles Angels
.) Jake signed his jersey before leaving the clubhouse for Tampa, and I am selling that autographed jersey in this listing. This jersey comes with a certificate of authenticity provided by the Durham Bulls.
As shown in the photos, Jake Faria signed his jersey in the left chest area.
This jersey is a size 48 and is very clean -- no smells, stains, dirt or other blemishes -- and has his jersey number 34 on the back. This jersey has short sleeves and is made of 100% polyester and has great stitching in the shoulder areas where the light blue sleeves are sewn to the body of the jersey.
This is an extremely rare collectible!!!
I am not offering returns for this
, so if you plan on wearing this, please make sure that a size 48 jersey will fit. If you would like me to give you the measurements of the jersey, please let me know. If you aren't planning on wearing this, it will look fantastic displayed (framed or unframed) on a wall in your home or business!
